The unit started their journey at 11 AM from St Agnes College with immense enthusiasm. The unit was cordially welcomed by the inmates of the old age home. Along with us some healthy food items and stationery were provided for the inmates. Inmates were given time to spend with each other, play games and interact. Volunteers conducted various activities including Singing and dancing. The inmates also showcased their talents which left everyone overawed. The unit found it difficult to say goodbye to the inmates.
The immense joy and bliss in the inmates to share their memories and show their rooms sounded excited for the volunteers. The school visit created a blissful experience in the mind of volunteers and threw a spark of thought about the true needs of the society at a young age.
