St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organized Annual Sports Day on the 18 November 2022. The Annual Athletic Meet embodies the zeal, talents and spirit of sportsmanship of the students of St Agnes College. The Chief Guest was Mrs Geetha Kulakarni, Assistant Commissioner of Police-Traffic, Mangalore City Police

A special opening prayer was offered by the College Choir. The Sports Day started with the march past where each class represented the different states of India showcasing their culture and tradition through creative ways. Then the Chief Guest declared the sports meet open. An amazing speech was given by the chief guest in which she encouraged the students to be persistent and to refine their talents, achieving greatest of the heights. She stated that if there is one field of life which teaches us the most valuable lessons about perseverance and patience, which constitutes a perfect character, it is sports.

During the day, the students competed against each other in sports events like relay races, 100 metres race, 800 meters race, 200 metres race, long jump, high jump, short put, triple jump and discus throw.

After the events, prizes were given to the winners. Even the staff members participated actively in the competitions.

The Valedictory programme was held in the evening. Mrs Marjorie Aranha Texeira, Entrepreneur, Former Senior Manager, Karnataka Bank Ltd and HDFC Bank and Alumna of the College was the Chieg guest. She encouraged the students in the participation of group events and distributed the prizes to the best marching team. The beautiful day ended by singing the college anthem.
