In an effort to foster a workplace environment that promotes gender equity and addresses sexual harassment concerns, a guest talk was organized at St Agnes College (Autonomus), Mangaluru on 13 January 2024. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 100 students of BCom, demonstrating a keen interest in understanding and advocating for gender equality in professional settings.

The talk focused on raising awareness about the importance of creating inclusive work environments where all individuals feel respected, valued, and safe from any form of harassment. Through insightful discussions and interactive sessions, students gained valuable insights into recognizing, preventing, and addressing instances of sexual harassment at the workplace.

The guest speaker, an expert in human resources and workplace dynamics, shared practical strategies and best practices for promoting gender equity and fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity. Students actively engaged in dialogue, sharing their perspectives and concerns, and exploring ways to contribute to creating positive change in their future workplaces.
